Donations to ccs

God is doing an incredible work in the lives of our students at Christ Covenant School. The kingdom values and biblical worldview they receive on our campus give them a firm foundation that will serve them well the rest of their lives. Investments made in our students will have an immediate, and lasting, impact that will have eternal significance as they engage the world around them with the love of Christ.

Tuition dollars are used to maintain the basic educational and operational needs of our school. We conduct fundraising efforts to surpass the basic needs of our school and invest in equipment, programs, and tools that result in an excellent educational journey for our students.

Christ Covenant School has been able to achieve so much in a short amount of time thanks to men and women who have selflessly and obediently committed themselves to investing in a Christ-centered education. It is my prayer that we will be found faithful to steward His school well for the time He has called each of us to CCS. If we do, our current students will be set on a trajectory of success, and future families will be greatly blessed because we purposed in our hearts to leave our school better than when we arrived.

Here are the many ways you can support CCS through your giving

The Annual Fund

Contributions are accepted year-round, but we send two annual mailers during the months of November and June. Funds raised through The Annual Fund are invested in the equipment, tools, and programs needed to provide the highest quality educational experience for our students.

Fundraising events

Our school offers a wide range of exciting events all year long. While these events are great opportunities for the entire family to have fun and make memories, they also generate significant financial support for the school board to use in funding special projects that have the greatest overall impact for our students.

The Advancement Fund

This fund invites larger investments to fully fund or serve as a lead gift for special projects on our strategic plan. Recent projects funded by our Advancement Fund include the Campus Signage Project, The Jack Laws Memorial Pavilion, Stage Lighting for our Theater Department, The Wilson Technology Center, New Locker Rooms for our student-athletes, and our New Playground.

Children's Promise Act

The Children’s Promise Act is legislation passed during the 2018 session allowing businesses to receive a tax credit for up to 50% of their state tax liability by making a voluntary cash contribution to an approved nonprofit entity. The nonprofit entities who qualified during this first year were a very narrow portion of the nonprofit sector.

In 2019, the scope of approved nonprofits was widened to allow educational institutions to apply; Christ Covenant School is now approved to receive contributions through the Children’s Promise Act as a Qualified Charitable Organization. This can be done by businesses. It is a simple process but requires the completion of a timely form by January 1st because the state financially caps participation. The designation to CCS is of no cost to you or your business. It is simply designating the school to receive a portion of what you would be paying to the state of Mississippi.

Kroger Community Rewards

This program makes fundraising for Christ Covenant School easy by donating based on the shopping you do every day. Simply create a digital account and link your Kroger Plus card to our organization (TJ461). Any transactions moving forward using your Kroger Plus card will be applied to CCS at no added cost to you! Kroger will make a donation annually based on your percentage of spending.

Box Tops

All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit our school’s earnings online. Twice a year, our school will receive a check and can use that cash to buy whatever we need!
