Athletics

Mark Wootton, Athletic Director

Sports provide structure and opportunities to instill discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship in our students. At CCS, we are dedicated to fostering athletic growth while upholding our core values. Church and family remain at the center of our mission. To that end, we avoid scheduling practices or games on Sundays and Wednesday nights whenever possible.

As we plan for the future, including campus development in partnership with Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church, we continue to prioritize the evolving needs of our athletic program. With the support of our administration and Board, we are committed to offering a diverse range of sports—including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, cross country, track and field, cheerleading, archery, swimming, tennis, and sporting clay teams—all driven by student interest.

The growth of our Booster Club has been a tremendous blessing, and we look forward to ongoing collaboration to enhance the athletic experience for all students. We remain committed to excellence in all areas and are grateful for the continued support of our families as we take these meaningful steps forward. Truly, the Lord continues to do more than we could ask or imagine in the life of our school – a constant reminder of His provision and guidance.

Go Warriors!

CCS Athletics is excited to announce that we will be moving all of our athletic registration and document tracking to DragonFly, a software specializing in this area!
Thanks to the generous support of the CCS Booster Club, CCS has been able to purchase Hudl Focus Cameras for the Athletic Field, Multipurpose Building, and a portable camera for Soccer games!

Sports provide structure and the opportunity to learn the importance of discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. We are currently engaged with Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church in campus master planning that includes a look at our future athletic needs. We also have the full support of the CCS Board
and CCS Administration as we expand our athletic program into Upper School.

We currently offer soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, track and field, cheerleading, archery, swimming, tennis, and a sporting clay team. Every sport is dependent on student interest. With that in mind, we will give every consideration to the addition of a baseball team as well as the expansion of our football program to include an 8-man team on the varsity level.

These exciting additions will all be executed while keeping the family in mind. We will continue to prioritize Sundays and Wednesday nights for church and family, avoiding scheduling practices or games at these times to the best of our ability.
We are committed to excellence in all of these endeavors, just as we are with all of our initiatives at CCS. We have welcomed the addition of a thriving Booster Club and look forward to partnering with them along the way. We are thankful for the continued support that our families offer as we take these pivotal next steps.

The Lord continues to do far more than we could ever imagine in the life of our school, and for that we are grateful! This sentiment is encompassed in our verse for the school year, written on the back of our student scripture t-shirts and worn as a sweet reminder of what our God can do!
